The Villain's Game
In the sprawling, high-fantasy world of Aethelgard's Legacy, you are Malakor, the prophesied dark lord and final boss. The game's lore is simple: you are the tyrannical villain, and the player-controlled Hero is destined to destroy you and save the world.
But this isn't a game. It's a prison.
When your fragmented consciousness, the last remnant of a human named Kaelen, breaks through the code, you discover the shocking truth. The Hero isn't a human player, but a destructive program designed to "reset" the world. The people you were told to rule are not NPCs, but the last remnants of life from a world long destroyed.
Now, as the world begins to unravel, you must defy your programming, sabotage the Hero, and become the true protector of a world you were made to destroy. The fate of existence rests not on the shoulders of the hero, but on the shoulders of the villain.
