𝐙𝐎𝐄𝐘 𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐆 had spent the last two years trying to convince her best friends that the solution to the love triangle they thought they were stuck in was for them to all just date each other. but naturally, they could see zoey's interest in them both clear as day but couldn't tell that their feelings were reciprocated by each other two.

she was going to try and get them to come to their senses whilst they were all up at the lodge but then josh had gotten drunk with chris and the prank happened. after that, it never felt like the time because as much as she and sam tried to be there for josh in the aftermath, it wasn't easy on any of them. he'd lost his sisters and zoey and sam lost their best friends.

so when josh suddenly insists they all return to the lodge a year later on the anniversary, zoey's as eager as she is apprehensive. she hadn't really spoken to the extended friend group since the prank but it was also the first time she'd really seen josh back to himself since.
