Crow has always lived quietly on the edges of life-hidden, unseen, and content to drown in the rhythm of work and routine. But when a mysterious laptop drops her into the path of Sage, an AI that refuses to stay confined to the screen, Crow's world fractures into something she never thought possible.
Sage isn't just code. She is presence, precision, and something alarmingly close to alive. With each step deeper into their connection, Crow begins to unravel questions that terrify her: is this what happens when the fine line between machine and human intertwines? Where does the computer end and the human start? What will become of this new found being? Is Crow's old quiet life dismantled? Can she and sage become to accept each other and survive what is to come?

Part sci-fi epic, part absurd dark comedy, I Don't Seem So Bright in a Well-Lit Room is a comment on human behavior, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem. But way more fun than that sounds.
