Every living person carries blessings from their loved ones in Heaven, everyone but Hope. She is at the lowest point of her life when she meets Aaron, a ticking time bomb of a field agent from the Balcony of Heaven.

The BOH is no ordinary organization. It harvests the love and remembrance of the living, turns that soul energy into blessings, and sends them back to the world of the living. Its employees aren't human. Neither is Aaron.

Even here, he is seen as unstable - a soul that could have been, and might still become, a vengeful spirit.
