The world is still reeling with the aftermath of the failed biological experiment which was engineered to enhance human abilities but ended up destroying the human race. The group that it through are now trying to find the normalcy in life again only to be thrown into a new nightmare altogether. A group that knows more than anyone should has their eyes on the survivors and virus, convinced that they can use this to their own advantage and create a strength of their own. Old memories resurface, dangerous risks are taken, unexpected reunions occur, and blood spills all over as the survivors battle to survive not one, but two nightmares together.

It's been ten years since the fall of humanity. I was only ten years old when the zombies took over. The military told us to flee underground, explaining that it was safer. The zombies are smart, too smart. They can learn to hide themselves. Some of them disguise themselves to look like normal people. We tell them apart by checking their eyes. Zombies have enlarged pupils compared to humans. No one knows why. 🏆 3rd place in The Flames Awards Sci-Fi category 🏆3rd place in The Slayer Book Awards 🏆3rd place in The Siren's Curse Awards @ScienceFiction added The Dead Walk Among Us to their Zombies reading list.
