When the summer ends

Conrad Fisher is tired. Worn thin by the weight he carries, by the silence he can't seem to break. Med school gives him something to hold onto, but no matter how far he goes, the past lingers.

There's someone he can't quite forget. A love tangled in memory, in what was left unsaid. Some things don't fade, no matter how much you try.

But then she walks into his life. All energy and color, laughing too loud in the back of a lecture hall, asking questions no one else dares to.

What grows between them is fragile, unspoken , and uncertain. Some stories begin when others have not quiet ended.

But the summer must end sometime.
