THUNDERSTRUCK | TOP GUN 86'

On March 3rd, 1968 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world.

They succeeded.

In 1986, for the first time in the history of the Navy; a female pilot got the call to join top gun. Blake Reynolds, call sign 'thunder' was the best pilot in her old base. With her best friend and radar intercept officer (RIO), she's joining as the first and only woman to ever attend the school for the best pilots in the world, top gun. She's sharp, confident and can fly a plane in her sleep. The only problem she'll have to deal with are the cocky men who think it's not a place for a woman.
