Nathaniel, Adrien, Lucus, Felix, Lucien, Sire, Aziel, Renzo and Salde, are called the "9 abandoned sons of Syvenko family", not officially.

After the death of their father, Alex Syvenko, who was said to have mysteriously died during an operation when the boys were young, they weren't treated right by their paternal family.

Their maternal family wasn't in the picture, obviously paid off by their paternal family, mother having died while giving birth.

The only reason they were kept in the Syvenko family was that the Syvenko family values their image a lot though the Syvenko family ignored them, completely, except for paying for them and keeping them so they wouldn't fight for inheritance. But the boys knew something was wrong with the story of their father's death.
