Ichikawa Ichigo is a young deaf student. Since entering high school, she has been looked down upon and bullied by several of her classmates. Her bullies would often force her to stay with them for the afternoon only to beat her up and leave her bleeding helpless on the floor. Nishimura Riki is an introverted student who is barely recognized at school. However, he is the only person who realizes how much Ichigo suffers. Despite never having spoken to her, despite knowing nothing about her, all he knows is that she lives in hell. Riki is willing to defend Ichigo at any unfavorable opportunity, but... how far can he go?
