If you have not watched Star Wars: The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch then you will not understand this story very well.

Whatever you are thinking, those dark thoughts in your head, don't listen to them. Your life is worth more than anything in the world. All hope isn't gone.
This story is supposed to highlight how family and friends can help you when having dark thoughts. Fives and Echo have a brotherly relationship. Not romantic love. Don't make it weird. Same goes for every other clone or character in this story. It's a Clone Wars AU so that's why it doesn't go along with cannon Star Wars.

Clone Order 66 was the time when all Jedi died. All the Knights, padawans, and children of the force, dead. All but one, me. The clones killed them all. Every clone turned. All except three, Gregor, Rex, and Wolffe. My best friend was among the ones who turned. His name was Jack. After he shot down my master, I fled. I left with the three clones still on my side. I never wanted to see Jack again. I'm an untrained Jedi, without a master, running from the Sith that want me dead. How did this happen? My parents disappeared and my sister died in an explosion caused by the republic forces, almost 10 years ago! I thought I'd never see any of them again, I was wrong. The Bad Batch: Tech and Vel
During the Clone Wars, the Bad Batch is tasked with a variety of missions across the galaxy. An unexpected addition to their team throws a wrench in the mix, particularly for Tech, who finds a particular connection with the disillusioned Padawan-turned-mechanic named Vel. Let's be honest... this is a slow burn, cheesy romance with just enough immersion in the Star Wars world to give us all a little vacation with one of our favorite clones. No smut, just PG-13 romance and adventure. It's like a mix of Pride and Prejudice and the Jim and Pam dynamic from The Office. Also, I did my best to keep a steady plot line and tried to think of all the potential plot holes or questions or whatnot, but ultimately, this was just an excuse to indulge in imagining a little romantic adventure for Tech.
