I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO READ UP ON RAIN WORLD LORE BEFORE READING. I'm not the best on it either. This Story is obviously inspired by Katsoup69's "Morality and Mortality". I recommend you go give it a read, it's definitely better than this. SERIOUSLY DO IT! (I will remind you constantly to do it) You go by They/Them so everyone can feel included and Artificer is Female as I see her as a female character. Badass woman. This has very mature themes, like not so detailed gore, death, trauma and other things. I will try my best not to get burnt out but I can't promise anything really. I am open to criticism I really do suck at writing.

Hullo! This is my first story to be published and I honestly don't expect it to be read. This is a random AU I thought of and wrote within five days. Five days of which I should have been studying for finals. The story is completed so I am literally just copy-pasting it here. Don't expect nice chapter lengths. Artificer, old, aching and now an urban legend to younger generations of scavengers, currently trying to move on from her old life from the cycles she has had with the scavengers she once called family, now having a scavenger that heals her fresh wounds and soothes her old ones. (Btw everything I write including the description is a rough draft, however once I publish a chapter now it's fully cannon to the fan fic so you don't have to worry if it's a rough draft or not it is the final product, I'll tweak some things here and there but over all it's official with some visual art coming soon, I'm gonna try to depict artificer as accurate as possible without her being the stereotypical 'annihilate every single scavenger she sees'.
