This is the story of how the God of Day, the Goddess of Night, and the Goddess of Plants come together to live their lives on the planet Duna, a planet filled with pain, secrets, and magic. Only two will win against death and will change their paths, but what will happen to the destined one? What will happen when one loses the fight?

Jasna just wants to be normal and not suffer from depression and social anxiety, but unfortunately she has no choice. For her powers have destined her to a world of darkness and pain, something she can't escape. Ever. Just like her past- it stays with her forever.

Sequoia doesn't know what love is. How to feel it, what it feels like. But right now she doesn't need that. All she needs right now is to graduate college at the top of her class to please her overbearing parents and to get a good job. That is her plan, her goals, and her dreams. But little does she know that her best friend, Brudney, dreams the same thing, only with her holding his hand through out it all.

Brudney has loved Sequoia since the day he met her, that sad night in a hospital waiting room, connected by the only thing he thinks could be the answer to their paths crossing- Destiny. But the only thing he seems to be destined to is her not feeling the same way.
