Lucy Clark skipped through the school hallways, her bright smile illuminating the corridors. To her classmates, she was the epitome of joy - always ready to dissect the latest blockbuster or share her favorite quotes. Few knew the secret she kept hidden behind her radiant grin: her battle with cancer.

As she walked into her next class, the scent of fresh pencils and paper filled the air, and Lucy felt a sense of normalcy wash over her. She loved school, loved discussing movies, and loved making her friends laugh. Only her mom, the school nurse, and Lucy herself knew the truth - her time was limited, and every day was a gift.

Despite the shadows that loomed, Lucy's spirit remained unbroken. She lived for the moments that made her forget, the laughter that filled her heart, and the friendships that made her feel seen. And in the midst of it all, she held onto hope - hope that her story wouldn't end too soon, and that she might just get to share it with someone who would understand.

Little did she know, Kendrick Lamar, a mysterious handsome guy, would soon enter her life, bringing with him a new perspective, a deeper connection, and a chance to leave her mark on the world. For now, though, Lucy reveled in the simple joys of school, friends, and movies - her own personal sunshine in full bloom.

"He said I should get help." She pauses, eyes widening with a counterfeit brightness "So here I am." Another pause. Her eyes glint as her lips erupt into a smile. Suzie Ellis has been wrestling with her mind for years, and it isn't until her boyfriend tells her to seek therapy to aid her struggles that she complies. Her therapist, Jane Carroway, is astute, observant and professional, the perfect one for the job. Their session kicks off as normal in Jane's office. However, as the time ticks by, Jane can't help but notice that something about Suzie is amiss. Maybe because of her odd movements. Maybe because of her incessant questions. Or maybe because she won't leave.. Suzie starts quizzing Jane. The questions start to become invasive, hoping to crack Jane open... And it works. Jane is now worried that she's fallen into a trap, and she may not come out alive... ▬ι═ﺤ Who will YOU trust in this claustrophobic, slow-burning psychological thriller set in a confined space with high tension and spilled secrets. Rating: 15+ Contains strong language and sexual references. ~~~ Any contempt or anger directed towards the story will not be tolerated in the comments.
