VIVIAN BROOKE BRADFORD, or just Brooke, mostly thinks of her life as eventful and varied, while still steady.

Living in LA with her police officer of a father, spending the summer hanging out with him, her friends, and doing ballet, was exactly how the girl would explain her dream life. Of course, while still passing time by visiting her father's work and colleagues, more than her protectice dad would think is sensible.

But what happens when the girl gets too involved with her father's dangerous job?

HOW WILL Vivian pull through when her life takes a sharp turn, tragedy and trauma hitting her hard, all while starting her freshman year of high school? Not to mention the girl's new encounters with a certain determined boy that's got his eye on her.

HOWEVER, what Vivian is most worried about, is how she'll keep up her and her dad's loving and seemingly 'unbreakable' relationship when she finds herself starting to feed him lies.
