When her parrot starts warning her about things no bird should know, Etta realizes her talkative pet may not just be mimicking voices; he may be orchestrating her fate.

Etta's African grey, Salt, has always been clever, but lately his words aren't just mimicry. They're warnings. Warnings about windows, strangers, and choices she hasn't made yet.

The more she tries to ignore him, the more her world begins to unravel: clocks reset, objects move, and her apartment hums with unseen energy. Salt insists he's plotting for her survival... but survival from what?

To escape the truth buried in his cryptic phrases, Etta must decide whether her feathered companion is protecting her or leading her into a trap she won't escape.
