Ai Areum Diana Yang-known simply as Diana-was born in Fukuoka, Japan, to a Japanese mother and a half-Korean, half-British father. Her mother, once a famous model and now Creative Director of Dazed Japan, chose to stay rooted in Fukuoka, while her father's business career took him to the UK. At thirteen, Diana moved to Berkshire to attend LVS Ascot boarding school, splitting her life between two countries but never losing the unwavering love and support of her family.
Despite being raised in privilege, Diana never wanted to simply live off her family's name. She pursued her passion for knowledge, graduating in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. Yet behind the equations and circuits, music was always her first love. With her younger sister, Misa, also chasing music dreams, Diana found her own voice by mixing rap with rock, weaving electric beats with live instruments.
Now, at 25, she's about to debut as a soloist under The Black Label-not just as another idol, but as a producer, songwriter, and performer determined to carve her own path. She's not here to fit in. She's here to change the sound of K-pop forever.
