Assistant District Attorney Rafael Barba's big brass ego is as infuriating as it is charming, and Daisy Evans has met her fair share of ADAs in her year working for Manhattan's Special Victims Unit to know that he is, by far, the most annoying specimen out there. It is also no secret that she wants to bite his head off every time he as much as opens his mouth-which he does, frequently-but when her past comes back to haunt her and they learn more about each other than they ever thought possible, she starts to realize that there may be more to Rafael than what meets the eye.
