In the fractured world of Atlas, power is law and survival is earned through blood. Gato, a boy born in the desolate Exiled Zone, knows nothing but hunger, struggle, and the shadow of despair. When his father falls gravely ill, Gato ventures into the Damned in search of the legendary Red Sun Plant. There, he encounters Nyxarth, a monstrous SSS-ranked threat, at the brink of death. In a desperate gamble, Gato delivers the final blow and awakens a power no one in Atlas has ever wielded: the Monster Devouring System, a system that transforms monster parts into gold and uses that gold to evolve the user beyond mortal limits.

As Gato grows stronger, he is drawn into a web of ambition and intrigue. Apostles of the Bond Kings hunt the fissures for forbidden power. Prophets scheme in the shadows of Lower Floors. And the Bond Kings themselves eye the awakening of a new force that could upset the delicate balance of their rule.

With enemies and monsters converging from all directions, Gato must master his newfound abilities, survive the horrors of the Damned, and carve his own destiny, before Atlas devours him, or he devours the world.
