Cursor and Quill: Woke up in my own story

When writer's block turns brutal, Lia falls asleep at her desk cursing her blinking cursor-and wakes up in the one place she never thought she'd be: inside her own story. The Serpent & Quill house, once just words on a page, stands around her in leather and dust and chipped coffee mugs. Worse, her characters are real-sharp, suspicious, and entirely unwilling to be called "OCs."

To stay, Lia has to prove she knows them as well as she claims: every habit, every scar, every unspoken rule. But earning a place in the house means more than reciting canon. It means surrendering to the very structure and consequences she once wrote for them-and maybe finding that the rules she made for fictional survival are exactly what she needs to stand in her own life.

Woke Up in My Own Story is a meta found-family fantasy where the line between creator and creation blurs, and sometimes the only way forward is to let the characters you love most yell you into the next chapter.
