This is a fanfiction based on The Legend of Zelda series.
No one wants to be replaced-
not without reason, not without warning.
But that's exactly what's happening to Link...

I knew he was betting on being better than me.
Better than the hero.
The other knights spoke highly of him.
Of both of us.
So did the king.
And the princess.
Or so I thought.

A Linked Universe Reader Insert Fanfiction. This day was not going as you had planned. It probably was not going as planned for these travellers you had started to follow around either, because there was no way you would stay somewhere full to the brim with monsters alone and unprotected - dream or no dream. And well, some company is better than none. Even when they only communicate in "Hya"s. Or: A modern day person unexpectedly finds themselves thrown into Hyrule, where they run into the Links. _________________________________________ 28.2.2020 - 28.2.2024 Part one is now finished. The Legend of Zelda: The Seals Of Fate
A story set in an untold age of the Zelda timeline. Follow Vormund, a soldier of the Hylian Guard, and his companions as they are thrust into a dangerous journey that will take them across the land of Hyrule. A mission that will see them come toe to toe with some of the most fearsome monsters that have threatened the land of Hyrule. This is a story of Friendship, Peril, Loss and Bravery. The cast of characters consists of original characters and familiar characters, with the focus being on the former. Author's Notes: I'm a big fan of the Zelda series, having grown up in the 90's OOT kick-started my love for gaming and adventure. However, as I have grown older, I have found myself really wanting the series or even Link to mature as I have matured. Instead of waiting and hoping, I decided to pour my dreams for this franchise into a series of books. This is book one of my series. (Book Two is underway) I hope you enjoy my take on the Legend of Zelda. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. A.GribbenComplete
Force of the Wild
Zelda was everything a royal should be: poised, articulate, and trained to wear the weight of a kingdom with grace. But beneath the crown and courtly smiles, she carried a secret frustration. Despite years of effort, she still couldn't access the sacred light magic buried within her. And without it, she had no way to stop the destruction looming over her people. Link was a quiet guardian, always just out of reach, his presence steady but unreadable. Legends named him the chosen hero, the one destined to save Hyrule from a rising darkness. But legends said nothing of navigating a tense partnership with a defiant princess who had yet to awaken the power she was born to wield. As the threat of Calamity grows, the two must learn to trust not only each other but themselves. Because if they can't... the kingdom they're meant to protect may be lost forever. **This is a work of fanfiction based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. All rights belong to Nintendo. Ages have been adjusted for a mature, romantic narrative. Contains game spoilers and original content meant to expand the canon story.
Short Tempered - Zelink Modern AU
Link was a bit of a problem child when he first started school, all he ever knew was the kindness from his best and only friend, so when faced with other nastier people their age, he didn't react too well. Skip forward a couple years and he's improved. Expressing his feelings however didn't come so naturally to him, so he decided to just... Go for it, in an extremely weird way, and just expect her to get it. He wanted to be nice to people, so he just accepted everything and went with what the other person desired. This was going well until he got himself in a rather sticky situation. (All of these characters are owned by Nintendo)Complete
BOTW: The Lonely Knight
It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. (A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing. I was still using this odd script style before transitioning to a more normal novel writing style. I hope this clears up any confusion.) (Other A/N: None of the artwork here is mine.
