When a catastrophic meteor strike devastates Earth, twelve young men-some astronauts in training, others soldiers sent to protect what remained-are thrust into a mission larger than themselves.
Chosen to command a vast ark-ship carrying the last survivors of humanity, they must guide thousands through the silence of space in search of a new world. But the burden of survival is heavy: each of them has a family left behind, a past that won't let go, and secrets that threaten the fragile unity of the crew.
As Earth crumbles in memory and the stars open before them, the twelve must discover what it means to lead, to sacrifice, and to hold onto hope when the future of mankind rests in their hands.

Airports shut down in areas nearby, while flights didn't dare to go back to Australia. No other country was willing to take Refugees. But one showed compassion and opened it's doors.
