The day the apocalypse started, Emma was on her first official date. she had assumed he was running late. Things happen right? Then a guy at the restaurant started convulsing on the floor before he tore a chunk out of another person.
She had watched it all happen, her interest was peaked. It wasnt everyday this shitty town had something like this happen. Everyone started screaming and rushing away.
She walked home that day, her mother was frantic when she spotted her. She wasn't phased by it. It didn't really bother her to watch all the violence. She didn't know them. She didn't care for them. They meant nothing to her.
Hell, if anything she's upset her date didn't show up. It was hard for her to care about people but she cared about him and he made a fool of her.
And Emmy hated being a fool.
