Prompt: I accidentally summoned my demon boyfriend.
Total word count: 1929
Edera always knew some things could be felt, but never seen. Maybe they exist on parallel planes - she wasn't sure. But ever since she found that box - the one only she could see - everything changed.
The house breathes. The walls shift color. Shadows twist in ways they shouldn't.
And in the reflection... she's not alone.
Her parrot whistles words she never taught him.
"Go away," she whispers. "Please."
No one would believe her. Not even her mother.
As a demon watches her in silence, Edera longs for just one thing:
to feel normal again.
"You were the one who summoned me."
