She played perfectly the role of a fake mother for someone else's child, in an absurd play directed by a man who threw her a helping hand only to tie a rope around her neck later. When she returned to New York, the place where it all began, it wasn't for revenge. But for answers. With Alice-the sister of her savior and, ironically, the only sincere support she ever had-she began digging into the past. A past that did not want to be found.
