I do not own the world, characters, or anything related to the story. This is an idea I came up with after a 7-hour shift and being frustrated with how *Game of Thrones* ended.

This story is set during the last episode of Season 8 of *Game of Thrones* and reflects how I would have ended it, since I disliked the original ending.
So here's my daydream after a 7-hour shift about what *Game of Thrones* could have been like if I had finished the series.

Laenora always knew that as a princess she had responsibilities, that one day she would be married to one Lord and ordered to build his legacy like only a woman could - with heirs. She was ready. Artorias....the abysswalker is no more. Slain in battle by the chosen undead. Remaining stagnant for long enough Artorias awoken himself in the gap between a second life-a rebirth into the cursed lands and city of Anor Lando and the expanse of nothingness. Searching deeper ever deeper, Artoiras found not a soul nor purpose remaining in this space, so he simply slept in peace after an untold tortuous circle with the entity that currpoted his mind, body and being...he dreamt kf his dear friend and partner...Sef, his good little boy.... ....he wished only to hold in his arms one last time...to say he truly loved his dear partner. "Sef..." Yet it seemed fate was cruel...or possibly kind to him? As he found a calling on his being from another direction, accompanied by a blinding figure made of flames....it reminded him of.....his lost lord "Artorias, you have been chosen....I send you to protect a special child...one of fire and blood." Its words pierced the gap of his fractured consciousness, bringing him hope as he found a hand reach for him through blurry vision.
