Fair warning: This story was made back in 2022-2023, during the time when "The Cuphead Show" was released. During that time, I was dealing with really bad mental health, and this book helped me find solace and some type of comfort. I was able to release some of my feelings within it. After a while of debating it, I decided to release it here onto Wattpad for everybody to read.
The characters featured in this are all adults, with Cuphead being at the age of 23. This fanfiction takes place after the contents of the show and the contents of the game. The story progressively gets better and more endearing the more you read it, even with its introduction not being the greatest.
Another thing, the content in this may be considered triggering and offensive.

As for what this story is actually about, Cuphead and Mugman finally moved out of Elder Kettle's house after a while, and they lived in a cabin with Chalice. However, Cuphead and Mugman's mood disorders started to affect their mental states a lot more, with life feeling like a slap in the face. Cuphead continued to write and document things about his life, with Mugman ending his. Continue to explore with Cuphead as you navigate his writings and realize how his life has taken a turn for the worst.
