Preachers Daughter | oc au

Follows the story of Savannah, the daughter of a southern preacher, through a disturbing coming of age story steeped in religion, violence, trauma, and doomed love.

Raised in a strict Baptist household, Savannah grows up under the shadow of her preacher father. The sermons are fire and brimstone, shaping her understanding of God as both loving and punishing. She learns obedience, silence, and how to pray - but also how to hide.

Inspired heavily by the album = preachers daughter by Ethel Cain.
