When JL transfers to the prestigious League Academy late in the summer term, he expected himself to settle quite smoothly- and that was the case, but only for a while. To his surprise, he learnt that the school culture associated smartness with popularity; perhaps he realised a bit too late, as after scoring a perfect score on every single subject, his popularity rating scored.

Chih En, League Academy's violin prodigy, most popular, yet-to-come scholarship honor roll student, doesn't expect anyone to take his place any time soon. So, when news came out that JL could be the next honor roll student, a silent rivalry sparked between the two- posts online, whispers whenever one appeared, recording each one of their achievements to "out do" each other.

The following school year, neither their popularity had died down. Infact, it was only intensified when both rivals were placed in the same class, seats right next to each other. They don't expect to interact, but rather their worlds collide by force...perhaps even unfold an unintentional relationship.
