It's 2199 and humans have lost their top spot on the food chain---monsters rule the world now. This is the story of a monster who tries to be the hero and the villain(?), and completely sucks at both. His human, Emalie, tells his story because... well, she really has no choice.
This is a monster novel---vampires just happen to be the stars---so blood, violence, romance, and death is required. No, Charlie and Emalie will NOT be together. Get that through your head now, and this won't be too disappointing.
