Gunna

Jaxson 'Gunna' Gilberto is no stranger to betrayal or taking losses. Death has played in the shadows of his life since he stepped foot into the streets at 12 to protect his best friend Karter Gilberto. Now at the age of 33, Gunna is the only of his generation of Gilbertos to live and speak on how the streets don't love a soul. When the streets come calling for his only son Jacob Gilberto, Gunna finds himself back to showing the city that tried to break his family that he is not to be played with. Nicole 'Coca' Brown is no stranger to struggle. Death has played in the shadows of her life as she follows in the footsteps of her mother. Never seeing a healthy relationship in her life, Nicole seems to keep attracting the same type of men. When her path crosses with Gunna because of some trouble her brother finds himself into, Nicole is ready to fight.

But Gunna doesn't have a fight for Nicole. He's drawn to her need to protect her brother the way he wants to protect his son. Jaxson can tell life has taken Nicole through the same flames of hell he's been through himself. Nicole isn't looking to be saved, and Jaxson isn't the type to save a woman after the betrayal of his girlfriends. But somehow Gunna finds himself wanting to make whatever Coca wants law.
