her world shattered when her father died.

not the heavy rain, but the sharp, brittle crack of the glass breaking.

her legs froze as the creature turned to her, black eyes reflecting the fractured pieces of the glass. it was her father.

and then-
a blade tore through the rain, the storm took shape in a human form. sanemi shinazugawa's blade cut him down before her eyes, leaving her with nothing but blood, rain, and silence.

years passed, but the memories never dulled.
