Better Days Ahead
They said memories are unreliable. Growing up will blur them like a cold wind to the crystal clear windows. But my memory of her can't be told the same. I remember how her lukewarm laugh lightened up my darkest days each time she was around. I remember how she expressed her fears of losing friends as if they were her oxygen.
