A chance encounter in the park changes everything. Sarah, a psychologist, meets Penelope, a little girl navigating a world that hasn't been kind. As their lives intertwine, Sarah discovers echoes of her own childhood in Penelope's laughter, her sadness, and her courage. A story about healing, connection, and the fragile threads that tie our past and present together.

Note: ✨ As part of my therapy journey, I decided to start writing a book. It's a mix of real-life memories and events blended with a fictional storyline .. so while pieces are inspired by my experiences/ memories, the story itself isn't fully based on true events. Writing has been both fun and deeply therapeutic for me, and I've been using ChatGPT to help with the editing along the way.

I more or less know where I'd like the story to go, but since this is my very first attempt at writing a book, I'd love your feedback so I can adapt and grow my chapters as I go. 🥰

9 parts Complete

Theodora and Quinn are newly engaged and beyond in love. Though their story started as a fake relationship, it quickly blossomed into something entirely new to the both of them. Quinn is swept up in the idea of having a family to call her own, too afraid to push the boundaries for fear of losing it all. Theo is pulled into the allure and exhaustion of planning their wedding with her mom at the helm of the ever growing and ever more expensive ship that she's not even sure qualifies as anything either her or Quinn want. But an accident causes their lives to be put on hold. Quinn is in a coma, leaving Theo to battle old demons on her own. When everyone comes back together...what will be of their relationships? Will Theo be able to look at Quinn without guilt? Will Quinn still be the same sunny and sarcastic woman from before the accident? And can the Manos family help piece it all back together?
