Maddy was just another victim of Alastor's deal making capers in the past and being enslaved as a personal favorite to one of Hell's most overbearing yet ferocious overlords was something she didn't sign up for. With her uneventful afterlife now revolves around him and his insufferable personality, she hated every second of every day being cooped up in his care. It's been literal hell for her-no pun intended! There is always a fine line between love and hate in a world of sex-driven maniacs but whether that can be a good thing or otherwise Maddy would still need to choose which side matters far more to herself.
