Noah has her junior year all planned out: keep her head down, crush her film production class, and maybe prove to her parents that choosing passion over practicality wasn't a mistake. What she didn't plan on was being paired with Will: a cocky, horror-obsessed class clown who treats everything, including their film project, like one big joke.

They're complete opposites. She wants to make something beautiful and emotional. He wants blood and jump scares. But when their creative visions collide, so do their feelings, and suddenly the fake romance they're filming starts to feel a little too real.

Noah finds herself falling for the boy who was never supposed to be more than a scene partner, but when Will makes a choice that changes everything, Noah has to decide: was any of it real, or just part of the script?
