Born an Aberran, die a criminal. Die an Aberran, born a criminal. We are predestined for sin from the moment of birth. They call us "bad seeds," as if we were planted by the devil himself as a mockery of God's creation. We walk like man, we talk like man, only we are stronger than man. We hold power and skills unmatched by any normal human. We are the abnormal, and for that, we are blacklisted. If we slip up, even just once, we are destined for death or imprisonment and entitled fiends yet again. Nobody was on our side. Until Zircon was created. A place of extravagance and the unthinkable. Where magic is more than just hat tricks and acrobatics are more than just handsprings and flips. Once you enter, you can no longer say that you've seen it all. Those who have been predestined for criminality can be relieved of their crimes if they sign the contract binding their service to the Zircon Corporation. If we want to live, we turn to Zircon. Bexley Rowan is the most recent victim of the system. She was to be sentenced to death for the murder of a councilman. She is voiceless in the matter, by choice and by force. The Chief of Zircon has offered a proposition. Give her servitude to Zircon and be relieved of her crimes, or be put to death for a crime he believes she did not commit.
