"Stop running away from the truth." "I'll untune my guitar completely if you say I haven't been telling you this all along. We are just meant-to-be." "Shut up" "You shut up." Kairavi arrives at JNV Konark, breaking free from a horrible past. Yet the nightmares of it didn't leave her. They clung to her, trying to ruin whatever tranquility she gets. Just when she had decided to remain low and ghost everyone, she finally finds her 'family'. As the Oxilvia Battle of Musical Arts approaches, and her found family rallies around her, and the ghosts of her past start closing in, Kairavi realizes she's going to have to choose. Between the boy who feels like home and the boy who feels like coming alive. Between safety and the terrifying possibility of being truly seen. Between the love that heals and the love that was eternal. The only problem? Every time she and Aaditya fight-which is constantly-she gets this weird feeling like they've done this dance before. In another life. In another time. And in Oxilvia, something dusty and forgotten, something is waiting to be discovered that will change everything she thought she knew about love, about fate, and about the boy whose eyes hold memories she's been trying to remember her whole life. Some souls are meant to find each other. Even if they drive each other absolutely insane first. A story of healing, music, found family, and the love that transcends lifetimes-even when it's inconvenient as hell.

Astrid

Carter slowly walked towards me, butterflies swarming in my stomach, filling every inch of me. "Assi." he grabbed my wrists, and made me look at him. "Who was that song about?" "You know who." "Was it... about me?" "What would you say if it was?" I cocked my head to the side, our eyes staying connected with each other. "I wouldn't say." he moved closer to me, towering over by the slightest bit as his breath surrounded my every nerve. He leant down, took a sharp breath and connected our lips. - Astrid was a beautiful girl, who had lost her sense of who she was and where she belonged. She went through something traumatic at only 14, but no one noticed. She moved to Roseville for a fresh start with her best friend Kaitlyn by her side. But Carter notices. He was a "bad boy" with a heart of gold (ik it's cliché) . He never let anything slip by him. He doesn't say anything as their personalities clash and they hate each other. You know what they say, there is a thin line between love and hate. Will these two step over the line? But sometimes, running away from your problems doesn't go down unnoticed. The very person Astrid ran away from is after her, and this time, the consequences will be worse. -- This is an enemies-friends-lovers book and they become friends early on because I find it difficult to write going from enemies to lovers so yeah. *unedited book* #1 in talent show (29/02/24)
