Stories of Violyn
A series of loosely connected oneshots, depicting scenes from the life of Caitlyn and Vi in the following few months after Arcane season 2. Some are just blatant slice-of-life fluff, and some have a bit more going on narratively, dealing with stuff like Caitlyn's dad, Vi's drinking habits, the couple's home, Vi's job, etc. I don't want to break the universe, nor build on it too much, so don't expect huge events or many AU chapters. This work is starting to turn into a bit of an anthology, sometimes with wildly different chapters regarding tone, so the last chapter is the Table of Contents with short summaries to make taking your pick easier. This is a mature, standalone girlxgirl story. Caitlyn never expected her best friend's little sister to kiss her on New Year's Eve four years ago. To her, Hazel was always Jace's awkward little sister nicknamed, "sprout," that tagged along in car rides, wore baggy clothing, and would be afraid of being the slightest bit tardy to class. So, of course, Caitlyn had to let her down gently before Hazel returned to her first year of college. Four years later, her best friend presents her with the idea of moving in with Hazel, who freshly graduated college. Obviously, she agrees, because what harm can little ole' sprout do? A lot. Because, Hazel is a lot different than what Caitlyn remembers. Bratty, tight clothing, and overall body of a goddess, all paired with the Hazel she knew and loved. But, under this new exterior, Caitlyn can't help but think differently of the woman that kissed her four years ago. - Hazel was always in love with her brother's best friend, Caitlyn. Ever since they were kids, she admired her from afar and tried to get as close as possible. So, misinterpreting the signs, during winter break of her freshman year of college, she decides to kiss her. Oh, she was sorely mistaken. Crushed. Heartbroken. Humiliated. Hazel goes back to college with the intention to forget about Caitlyn and reinvent herself. She never did relationships, though. Too useless and complicated. But suddenly Caitlyn Kiramman enteres Vi's life and her initial sexual attraction slowly evolves to something more. Something vulnerable and complicated. She has started to like Caitlyn more than she'd actually allow herself to. Disclaimer: I apologise for any possible mistake or inacurrency, since I don't live in the US and don't know how college works back there. I also apologise if anyone does something out of character. Modern AU CaitVi (from Arcane) fanfic Caitlyn Kiramman has been playing volleyball since before she could talk. It's her past, present, and future. It's her senior year at Piltover Academy, and she needs to make sure that it's her best. As team captain, she has the opportunity to build a team that will sweep the competition and make her mother proud. She can't afford any distractions. Violet Lane, Vi, is a girl with a chip on her shoulder. There are only two things in life that she cares about: volleyball and her family. She has never been good at making friends, but it will be even harder now that she is being forced to transfer to Piltover Academy for her senior year of high school. Not only will she be the new kid at school, but she will also have to attend a school full of snobby wealthy kids who will look down on her. Caitlyn and Vi are not a good pairing, but their love for their sports has forced them together. Will Caitlyn be able to shape Vi into the player that she needs on her team in order to reach her dream? Could she somehow chip away at the walls that Vi has up? Could it maybe lead to more?
