The Second Book in the Ben 10 Dark Apocalypse series.
CaD12, Ben's former boss, and mentor, is running for Mayor of Sion City. As CaD begins making moves to change the crumbling crime ridden poverty stricken paradise for the rich and powerful- a war over an election brews. Nesmith sends mercenaries to assassinate CaD as the election becomes less about votes and more of a physical battlefield, as Ben and his allies at Mili-EX are tasked with protecting their old boss at all costs.
Meanwhile, several old faces from Ben's past turn up one by one.. all adding new complications to Ben's life in various ways..

However when her grandpa max finds himself caught up in an alien conspiracy, she takes initiative and puts the omnitrix back on. Now recalibrated the omnitrix allows Gwen to change into 10 aliens, this new batch being ones she's never been able to use regularly before. However she's not alone as she has two teammates working along side her. Her cousin, ben tennyson, has been a hero ever since they took on vilgax when they where 10. Equipped with a mask from the future, a hoverboard from his crystalline friend, the proto-tool he took from MT rushmore way back in the day and the mana he inherited from his grandma, he's a force to be reckoned with, but in his 5 years being a hero he hasn't lost his sense of fun or adventure. Able to absorb any material into his body to create a coating of armor around his body, this bad boy has a tech savvy mind and a past he's constantly on the run from.
