Emily Carter arrives in Millbrook for her senior year, hoping to blend in and graduate quietly after her family's public disgrace. Instead, she becomes fascinated by the town's dark secret: five months ago, beloved student Cassandra Blake was found murdered in Miller's Creek, and while everyone suspects her boyfriend Hayden Brooks, no one has been able to prove it.

What begins as curiosity evolves into something deeper when Emily realizes that Hayden-now completely ostracized and eating lunch alone every day-might actually be innocent. As she observes him in the library, in hallways, and around school, she sees not a killer but a boy destroyed by grief and wrongful accusation.

Through careful investigation and conversations with the town librarian, Emily discovers that Cassandra had been researching something sensitive in the weeks before her death-something related to the school that made her nervous enough to ask about whistleblower protections. This suggests her murder might have been motivated by silencing her discoveries rather than relationship drama.

But Monica McCaslin didn't think she would ever be one of those people, would ever have one of those moments. Brought up in a small suburb, with everything she could ever ask for, there wasn't much left for her to want. Monica's ordinary life was to go as such- follow her high school sweetheart to college, graduate, get married, have two kids; the cookie cutter life. White picket fence included. What she did not expect was to meet a dark-haired stranger sitting all alone on a park bench, at that very same school she was to attend with said future husband. After a brief conversation, just a handful of words between them, Monica decides to go on a cross-country road trip with him; putting her faith and future in the hands of a stranger. Thinking she'd soon regret her decision and the life she left behind, she realizes she doesn't at all. Free of expectation and a future that she thought was set in stone, she begins to find the woman she was truly meant to be. State by state, with each border they cross, Monica liberates her true self. π”Ήπ• π• π•œ βžƒ 𝕠𝕗 βžƒ - β„‚π• π•žπ•‘π•π•–π•₯𝕖 - ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ This is a work of fiction. Blood Stained Lies

12 parts Ongoing

Everyone thought Sloane Ashford had it all-looks, charm, and secrets like poisoned sugar on her tongue. But when she's found dead, the picture-perfect world she built cracks open, revealing something much darker underneath. Six students. One corpse. And a web of secrets that refuse to stay buried. Now someone's watching. Someone who knows exactly what happened that night. The messages start small-unsettling, personal, impossible to ignore. They carry pieces of a truth only Sienna could've known. Fear spreads. Paranoia sets in. Relationships splinter. At Hallston High, guilt doesn't always look guilty. The dead don't always stay silent. And the killer? They're not finished yet. Because this was never just about motive. It's about memory. And who's brave enough to face it.
