Kinsley Flynn is the new girl around in OBX.
Kinsley was known for being a kind hearted, well mannered girl back in Florida. Although, she was usually up to some sort of trouble. Nothing serious. Just what she liked to call light hearted fun.
When she winds up in North Carolina due to her dad's new job, the girl discovers her new found home may be a whole lot different than what she expected.
Especially when that new found home involves a certain blue eyed boy, whose mind and heart was guaranteed to never the same.

Beneath the Surface
Five years ago, Isabella Aguirre packed her life into a suitcase and left the Outer Banks behind - along with her best friends, her childhood, and the boy she was too scared to love. Now she's back. Different accent, sharper edges, same ghosts. JJ Maybank? Still wild. Still reckless. Still the boy who called her "trouble" and kissed her like she meant something. Too bad he acts like she doesn't exist. But the past has a way of slipping through cracks, and Isa's not the same quiet girl who left without saying goodbye. Old feelings don't stay buried long in the OBX. And some people... you never really get over. A story about second chances, fucked-up timing, and the kind of love you pretend not to feel.Complete

Aurora Rowen Vallistica isn't thrilled to be spending her summer in the Outer Banks. A rich girl with a passion for ballet, she'd rather be anywhere else-preferably with her boyfriend back on the mainland. But when auditions for her dream part in Swan Lake are pushed up, with no partner in sight, desperation forces her to look for help in the most unlikely of places. Enter JJ Maybank: a hot-headed Pogue freshly fired from the Island Club, broke, restless, and absolutely not the type of guy Aurora ever imagined would be lifting her into a pirouette. The feeling is mutual-JJ can't stand the sharp-tongued, silver-spoon ballerina who thinks she can boss him around. But a job is a job, and he needs the money. Thrown into a dance neither of them asked for, their summer starts off with cold glares and clashing worlds. But under the Carolina sun, as rehearsals turn to late-night conversations and friction gives way to something softer, they begin to wonder if the line between Touron and Pogue was ever really meant to hold.
