Valyraena Targaryen is the older sister of Rhaenyra Targaryen, the eldest daughter of Viserys Targaryen and his first wife Alice Martell. Valyraena is a unique child, from the very beginning she has shown that she is different from other children, what many do not know is that Valyraena is not from the House of the Dragon universe, instead she was reborn there. Valyraena is originally from Earth, her original name was Megan Vanhorn from the United States and apart of Task Force 141. Megan was unfortunately killed in action while saving her teammate Simon Ghost Riley from dying, taking the bullet meant for him. While Megan expected to never again open her eyes, she is surprised when she does. She is brought before some very powerful deities who tell her that she has the choice to be reincarnated before the Dance of the Dragons. When Megan asks why the deities explain to her that she is their chosen champion and that they have been watching her for a very long time. They also tell her that she can choose to do what she wants with her new life, she can stop the Dance or let it happen, she can do anything she wants. With this information Megan agrees to be reincarnated and this is how she came to be reincarnated as Valyraena Targaryen. While she enjoyed her life as Megan Vanhorn she always felt that she never belonged on Earth, that she was meant for something greater. She loved her teammates dearly, they were her family, her brothers but with this new chance she is finally free to be who she wants, do what she wants, she can let that darkness in her reign free in this new world.
