Summer has ended, and Billy and Tommy Maximoff are starting school again. They're eager to make friends and happy to be out in the world as young mutant heroes. As they start their new year, they meet new kids, and discover new mysteries that also catch the attention of new adversaries. Billy discovers more about his powers, and Tommy tries to navigate the concept of popularity. But when their outside life and their enemies start to intersect with their school life, they'll learn that everything is not exactly what it seems in this world. Will they be able to keep everything under control, or will they start to spiral?
