Luce is a quiet hermit living in the forest. He presides as the protector of the village of Ebber, a small town on the eastern coast inhabited by people of the lapin race. Luce, a Lapin himself, Has always been a mystery among the people of Ebber . They know he is someone who holds divine blessing, a gift of Meredith, the foremost supreme god of the realm, and has an extraordinary knack for the art of Magicka. Although Luce wishes for an eternity of peace, times were changing, and dark forces clouded the future. On the realm they inhabited known as Eientei, the powers that be were coming to a head. Ambitious upstarts and old bitter kingdoms sat restless, waiting for an opportunity to strike and gain glory. An ocean away on the other side of the Eientei, forces from the dark continent laid envious resentful eyes towards the east, with their loss in the war for heaven, they slowly drew their plans against them, patiently waiting for their rise again.
But all was not lost yet, by Meredith's order, an angel came to Luce in the dead of the night, with a simple prophecy and command.
