Into the Fire

Magnicida has trained to be an assassin her whole life. Her first hit is a test her abilities, to see if she should be accepted into the arms of The Unknown. When she finds out that it is to be her best friend, who is also crown prince to the realm, Magnicida knows she has to find out who is behind the contract. In her blunder, the crown prince escapes into the safety of the Heartwood. Now she must figure out who would put a contract out on the prince, all while trying not to be killed herself.
