Quiet, kind, and introverted, Remus struggles to let people in, afraid that his nature as a werewolf might harm anyone he dares to love.

Nicole and Remus form a bond right away - but as they grow older, life pulls them apart.
During the summer before fifth year, Nicole begins to lose touch with herself.
The girl staring back in the mirror no longer looks like someone she recognizes.

No one seems to notice.
No one... except two eyes, green as emeralds.
