When seventeen-year-old Callidora skye, fresh off Zombies 4 and still best known as the girl from Junior Eurovision, is thrown into the biggest opportunity of her life - a cross-country tour alongside the Descendants 4 cast - she expects late nights, stage lights, and a little homesickness. What she doesn't expect is a secret deal with Disney producers:
she and her co-star Malachi Barton have to fake-date for publicity.

The rules are simple - look convincing, keep the secret, sell the fantasy. But for Callidora, it's anything but simple. She's never had a boyfriend, never even kissed a boy, and now the whole world will be watching her pretend at something she doesn't understand. Malachi, used to the spotlight and all its pressures, steps in with ground rules and a promise: he's got her back.

As the bus rolls across the country, between inside jokes, practice TikToks, and whispered late-night strategy sessions, the line between "pretend" and "real" starts to blur. Friends tease that it's been "a long time coming," fans lap up every staged moment, and Callidora carefully private heart begins to wonder what's actually true.

But keeping secrets isn't easy - not from her overprotective doctor-family blowing up her phone with worst-case statistics, not from curious castmates, and definitely not from her dad her best friend.

Because the biggest risk of all isn't the tour, the press, or the cameras. It's falling for the boy she's only supposed to be pretending with.
