Zoey and Ethan both attend NorthShore Academy. They have 5 of 8 classes together yet they don't seem to know each other. On the third day back from thanksgiving break, that all changed.
Zoey was just 17, a junior at NorthShore, when someone tried to kill her. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon. She was driving home from school after her soccer game when someone purposefully ran her off the road.
Ethan was an ordinary 18 year old, also a junior at NorthShore, but when he met Zoey, his life would change forever. He was on his way to his uncles house when he saw a car flipped over in the ditch.
Ethan stayed by Zoey's side as she recovered. He went to school during the day and came by after with treats and homework. They got to know each other a little more as the days passed. Ethan and Zoey's friends were the only ones to visit her. Her parents never came home from Paris where they spent thanksgiving. Why didn't they come home to see their daughter... no one knows.
