She's had her 2 best friends, Garrick and Xaden by her side the entire time, but while everyone seems to always be looking at Xaden, Katrina's eyes have always lingered on Garrick. He's the only one who's ever seen her cry, the one she always hugs a little tighter than everyone else, and the one of two people outside of leadership that knows about her classified signet. The only thing keeping her from making a move is her friendship with him and her desire not to mess it up. Garrick Tavis is also in his third year at Basgiath. Like Katrina, he's had both her and Xaden by his side. The relics that swirl around their arms and their powerful signets have made the trio a prime target at the war college. While he's close to both Xaden and Katrina, it's always been Katrina, who he calls Kate, that he's turned to first when he's overwhelmed. When she joins the riders quadrant, she finds herself immediately infatuated with a third-year rider with a rebellion mark.
