2035, the world was shocked to see a large structure had appeared out of nowhere following a mass electrical grid shutdown that morning. The area was sealed off by corporate and military groups as they inspected the structure, but a mere few hours after its appearance, an army had attacked. It would be a vicious fight as heavily armed medieval like soldiers, along with mages soon ravaged downtown New York, thousands would die as reports of outages, jamming of military equipment, hallucinations of strange beings from military soldiers and civilian made the the fight last for a bitter 2 weeks. The aftermath was quick as a Expeditionary Force was formed jointly from other branches of the United States Military and corporations looking to figure out the magical properties. Labeled the New World Region, witness several characters try to find their way through a world that is not what it seems. Warnings: Includes dark subjects as rape, violence, detailed gore, torture, war crimes, some xenophobia, and a focus on cosmic/lovecraftian horror with hallucinations, time bending POVs, mind control, mental breakdowns, and matters that some probably would find depressing. Authors note: this is not based of the Gate anime, just the premise, decided focusing on a more realistic medieval/early modern period where magic is slowly being unnecessary was more interesting, so expect a mix of dragoons, muskets, polearms, horses and other terminology from those periods For the modern day aspects I agree its not realistic as myself am in no way even related to the US Military, but its just a personal project to write something i find interesting. Pictures and music used are not mine, mostly just added to give context on what something looks like. Timeskips . = (a few hours or days after, generally a timeskip to a new scene, or another character) ‐ = (a quick switch between two characters, example, the pov of a USMC Marine and a Medieval soldier in the same room)

In a world where the conflict between Azur Lane and the Red Axis was overcome, and the Sirens were repelled- The Samoa Base from that world was suddenly summoned to a war-torn other world!? Amidst the chaos caused by clashes of values and common sense, this is the story of a young Commander and the KAN-SEN (some of whom are... troublesome) as they charge through the stormy seas of another world. And so, it begins! NOTICE This is my first post. This story is a crossover between Summoning Japan and Azur Lane, with characters and weapons from various other works mixed in. It also includes original lore, theories, and some convenient plot devices. Note that the summoning to another world happens two years earlier than in the OG Summoning Japan. The author's knowledge is "broad but shallow" (self-proclaimed), so there may be many mistakes, contradictions, typos, or awkward phrasing regarding politics, military affairs, etc. If you notice any, pointing them out in the comments would be greatly appreciated. I'll do my best to make corrections where possible. Also, this work is written on a sudden burst of inspiration, so updates will be very irregular. Please bear with me.
